Ace As fans eagerly await Davido’s impending fifth studio album, “5IVE,” the Nigerian music sensation has released a new single, “Be There Still.”
Afrobeat and modern sounds are dynamically blended in the hit track that was released on Friday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Just before releasing the song, the five-time Grammy nominee posted an announcement about the release on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, @davido, with the description, “Midnight we feast.”
With DJ Maphorisa, Black Culture, and Marvey Muzique as producers and D-RO handling the mixing, “Be There Still” boasts an outstanding production team.
Davido had earlier announced to curious fans that his highly anticipated fifth album is scheduled for release on April 18.
NAN remembers that the singer had earlier released two singles, “Funds,” featuring ace singers Odumodublvck and Chike, and “Awuke,” featuring YG Marley, as a prelude to the release of “5IVE.”
Chike’s silky melodies and Odumodublvck’s gritty rhymes combine to create a stunning collaboration in “Funds,” which Davido completes with his trademark vigor.
He claims that “5IVE” reflects his “story, truth, and growth.”
