Jumoke George, a veteran Nollywood actress, has publicly appealed for help after disclosing a series of personal and medical issues that have left her ill, homeless, and searching for her child.
The seasoned actress tearfully described her hardships, such as staying in a church and not being able to pay for medical care, in an excerpt from the interview that Adebayo posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
George sobbed as she talked about her terrible circumstances on a recent episode of the TalkToB show, which was hosted by fellow actress Abiola Adebayo.
“Mothers everywhere, please pray for me. Please offer up prayers for me. No one’s life has ever been damaged by me. She sobbed, “I’m exhausted and I can’t take it any longer.”
Jumoke revealed that she now lacks a place to live and is largely dependent on churchgoers for daily help.
“My child has gone missing, and I have nothing, even a house. My health is not good, and I am worn out. I live in the church, and the church mummy usually provides for me,” she continued.
Adeola, the actress’s first child, has been missing for the last four years.
She claimed that she has persisted to take on the duty of looking after her grandkids in spite of her deteriorating health.
As a Christian, I have made an effort. For the past four years, Adeola, my firstborn child, has been missing. On May 1, Deola’s time was 41. “I’m in charge of providing food for the kids,” she clarified.
George, who is well-known for her powerful performances in Yoruba-language movies, also talked about her continuous health problems that started at the beginning of the year and the growing medical costs that she is unable to pay.
I can’t sleep because I’m in pain all the time. There’s a problem with me. I no longer comprehend. Her voice trembled as she continued, “I have incurred so much debt for that child.”
Fans and colleagues in the entertainment world have expressed their concern and sympathy in response to Jumoke George’s emotional outcry. Many of them have resorted to social media to give prayers and support.
