Angela Okorie is accused by Regina Daniels of attempting to chase her rich husband, Ned Nwoko, in what is fast turning into one of Nollywood’s most acrimonious celebrity feuds of the year.
Regina didn’t hold back or try to be evasive. With a statement so blazing that it rocked the timeline, she went right for the heart of it: “I won’t even begin to tell the world that you were pursuing the same old man.”
Fans, bloggers, and industry observers are all asking the same question in response to that line: Did Angela Okorie actually target Ned Nwoko?
No screen grabs. No evidence. However, given the audacity of Regina’s delivery and the unadulterated emotion that underlies it, her comments are powerful.
She also added the following to make it further messier:
He is everything that you wish for yet are unable to draw in. Now let your age speak for itself. A girl who previously admired you when she was six now views you as nothing to write home about, thus it’s obvious that you failed.
Given their disparate ages and his status as a polygamist, Ned Nwoko, the “old man” in question and the spouse of Regina Daniels, has long been a contentious figure. Thus far, however, Regina has consistently defended her marriage with poise, composure, and a detachment from drama.
In addition to flipping the story, Regina used the very thing that detractors have made fun of her for—her age-gap marriage—as leverage when she asserted that Angela Okorie once attempted to pursue the same “old man” that she now refers to as her husband.
She is now stating that you wanted in on it rather than merely passing judgment. The assertion alone has sent the internet into a frenzy, regardless of its veracity.
SHE DIDN’T STOP THERE
Regina also didn’t stop at a single post. She shed her customary poise and jumped into the muck on her own terms in subsequent Instagram Stories.
“Leave her to me. I shall now respond as the rude child you labeled me. Let’s remove the mask of maturity I wear.
“We shouldn’t change the past.”
Regina concluded her verbal abuse by bringing up Angela’s early acting career, saying she lacked confidence and need assistance on stage, something Regina had provided to her even as a young girl.
“Do you recall your very first film role? was with my mother, Mercy Johnson, and me. You couldn’t take your lines and wasted over 20 tapes. But guess what? I sat you through it.”
She went on to say:
“I’m younger, yes, but I’m not your mate in results. Be mindful of those who carried you; don’t let pride get in the way. Final caution.
