On Friday, at the inauguration of the 2020 ember months safety campaign of the FRSC, in Port Harcourt, Governor Nyesome Wike ordered the FRSC to apprehend and detain any Keke rider caught plying any major roads.
According to Osima Gina, the state Commissioner for Transportation, said;
“Any Keke rider you catch on any of the major roads please apprehend and detain them. Let the leaders of Keke riders know that it is not only the taskforce that will be set up by the state government, but as partners in the business of saving lives on the road, the Federal Road Safety Corps will not allow Keke to ply the major roads.
