Bolt Driver Escapes Death After His Passengers Attack Him

A bolt driver identified simply as Ugo has recounted how he was almost strangled to death, by three guys who booked a ride with him.

According to reports he picked the boys up at Ada George Port Harcourt. Few minutes into the ride, the boys asked him to pullover. Mr Ugo being unsuspicious of the impending crime, pulled over.

In a WhatsApp Status post, Ugo narrated how the boys pounced on him using a rope to strangle him.
The port Harcourt bolt driver managed to escape death after he fought back and held one of the boys.
He noted the boys robbed him of his car keys, phone and other things.

Ugo wrote: “I thank God for my life this day, I had a bad experience that nearly took my life. In the mist of such situation I gave up. I never wanted to share my experience but I can’t keep quiet.

“I was nearly strangled to death and at that point, I was helpless and I lacked the power to help myself out if such brutal situation. To be honest I gave up and I was ready to leave this sinful world and I heard a voice that said ‘Ugo Not Today’.

“I quickly regained strength and held the rope on my neck and freed myself. I went further to fight the boys and held one of the boys out of three. My phone and accessories has been recovered and the boy is in police custody. I want to thank God for his mercy and the energy that he gave me”.
