Amid coronavirus scare in the state, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has ordered the sack of a Covid-19 team member for unilaterally attending to a suspected case who was later evacuated with an ambulance.
According to TVC, the governor also issued queries to the officials of the state health ministry in what he described as their failure to take necessary precautionary measures on the incident that was caught in a viral video.
the information reaches us that the Covid-19 team members found themselves the hook after video footage emerged showing a driver of the team attending to someone suspected to have coronavirus without waiting for the Rapid Response Team (RRT).
