The lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announces the guidelines for ease of lockdown during a press briefing. As the ease of the lockdown approaches, we should not let our guards down.
We are not only responsible for ourselves but for people around us, therefore we need to Mask Up.
It is not business as usual, and unfortunately it won’t be for a while until we have successfully managed and eliminated this virus from our midst.
Therefore, if it’s not important or compulsory that you leave your house, kindly stay indoors.
Ease of lockdown does not necessarily mean we have to leave our abodes.
As much as we have recorded success in our fight against COVID-19, it should also be noted that we have sadly lost some patients.
Therefore, be aware, be conscious, be careful, be intentional, be responsible and most of all stay alive.
Below are some of the guidelines for the ease of lockdown which kicks off tomorrow 4th May 2020
All Businesses are hereby directed to de-contaminate their premises, prior to re-opening
Movement in public spaces without a Face Mask or Face Covering is highly prohibited. Everyone appearing in public must use a simple Face Mask. Violation of this directive will attract heavy penalties.
All open markets and stores will be allowed to operate on alternate days between the hours of 9am – 3pm.
Everyone attending these markets and stores are mandated to observe necessary precautionary measures of social distancing and very high levels of personal and hand hygiene.
