Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, 74 also referred to as S. P. Balu, S. P. B., or Balu, was an Indian musician, playback singer, music director, actor, dubbing artist and film producer.
The famous Indian singer and Guinness Book World record holder, SP Balasubrahmanyam has died of COVID-19.
After testing positive to coronavirus early August, he was admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai where he was receiving treatment before he passed away at about 1:04pm on September 25, 2020.
Confirming the sad news, his son said:
“SPB belongs to everyone. He will live on in his songs. My dad passed away at 1.04 pm,”
