‘Decision Has Been Reached To Allow Emirates Airlines To Fly Into Nigeria’- Sirika

Recall that September 18,2020 the Federal Government announced the ban of Emirates flights to Nigeria.

However, the Federal Government has now announced its decision to lift the ban and allow Emirates airlines to start operations within Nigeria.

Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation on Wednesday announced the news on Twitter , saying:

“UAE has written to state that they agree to issue visas to Nigerians, consequently decision has been reached to allow Emirates to fly into Nigeria.

“Commencement of the Visa issuance is condition precedent. Please bear with this unusual situation. Many thanks.”
