Dynamic Gospel and Contemporary Music Singer, Deniqua She loves the wholesome sound and feel of a gospel choir as well as the sweet simplistic melodies of Contemporary Christian vocals. That combination is where she created her sound.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she is no stranger to church singers. Deniqua has been singing in church choirs from her earliest memories. Both of her parents are singers and musicians and all three of her brothers have been gifted with both singing and songwriting talents. A shy young lady singing in multiple singing groups throughout her teenage unto adult years, she could be seen holding a strong alto note.
In 2006, Deniqua and her husband, Frank Jennings, moved from Detroit to Indianapolis, Indiana with their young son. After many years as a stay at home mom, she pursued her dream of being a teacher. Deniqua has been teaching kindergarten for 2 years. She can be heard singing with her students in the hallways, on the playground, and in the classroom.
In 2018, Deniqua had the pleasure of being a featured soloist on Mark Anthony & Latter Rain’s debut single, Life Saver. Deniqua is released her solo single entitled Peace Be Still. Peace Be Still was written and produced by Deniqua’s brother, Jermaine Donaldson, and cousin, Lawrence Washington.
