Falz’s Remark That “Fornication Is Not A Sin” Has Drawn Criticism From Online Users.

Folarin Falana, a Nigerian rapper better known by his stage name Falz, has drawn harsh condemnation for a recent remark he made regarding adultery.

“Fornication is not a sin,” Falz wrote in a succinct post on X on Sunday.

Online users were incensed by the remark, especially religious people, and many of them refuted his assertion using biblical allusions.

Others supported Falz’s right to voice his opinions, while others, particularly from religious organizations, denounced his remarks and cited passages from the Bible to support their positions.

Falz may be one of the “end-time celebrities” disseminating incorrect doctrines, according to a user on X, Olivia, who tweeted as #Blessing_.

It is even a sin against one’s own body, so we should avoid it, according to 1 Corinthians 6:18, she stated. In 1 Corinthians 5:9–11, the Bible likewise exhorts believers to stay away from adulterers. God clearly detests immorality, as stated in Galatians 5.

God commanded us to abstain from all immorality, but to run away from fornication, which is a sin of the flesh.

I suppose you are among the end-time celebrities who have been paid to propagate erroneous doctrines.

“Awful… I enjoyed you.

The same opinion was often expressed by another user, Fash Daddy, who went by the handle #thefashygram and tweeted, “Fornication is a sin, FLEE.” FLEE, fornication is a sin. FLEE, fornication is a sin. FLEE, fornication is a sin.

Dr. Penking, another X user, indicated that Falz was just looking for attention.

“You dey follow chase clout at your age,” he wrote.

Mr. Wrong But Right, another user, voiced dissatisfaction with the rapper by saying:

“Seeing a lawyer tweet like this astounds me. May God show us mercy.

Nonetheless, some users agreed with Falz, claiming that in both legal and cultural contexts, fornication is not regarded as a sin.

“Fornication is a sin to religious people,” tweeted DataCraftman under the handle #Technnick. In our nation, fornication is a crime. Leave sin for those who are aware of Am Jare.

“He is right,” tweeted Seunidowusings, using the same handle. Fornication is a Western or contemporary concept; it is not a sin in the Bible. According to Jewish custom, you must pay a woman’s bride price and get married to her if you had a consensual sexual encounter with her.

According to Exodus 22:16, a man must pay the bride price and she will become his wife if he seduces a virgin who has not vowed to be married and has an affair with her. He is still required to pay the bride price for virgins even if her father declines to hand her to him.

It seems that two young people can have sex before getting married. Additionally, intending couples can have sex without getting permission from their parents, pastors, churches, or society at large through a wedding ceremony.
