Germany Hands Nigeria’s D’Tigers their Second Group Stage Loss in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

After their promising performance during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic friendlies, Nigeria’s D’Tigers fall short against Germany in their second group stage loss.

Both Nigeria and Germany had lost their first games since the official commencement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and were looking forward to obtaining victory last night.

The match was a well fought one, considering the score was tied 50-50 by half time and 74-74 by the third quarter, and was still extremely close till Germany finally managed to pull away and won the game with a score of 99-92.
