Gombe North Co-signs Yahaya for second term

Gombe North Senatorial District of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday passed a vote of confidence in the administration of Governor Inuwa Yahaya and has co-signed him for a second term.

In a bulletin issued at the end of the stakeholders’ meeting held at the Teachers’ Resource Centre, Kwami, the party faithful commended the developmental stride of Governor Yahaya which they said are reflected in all facets of life in the state.

“We the key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gombe North Senatorial District, have held an enlarged stakeholders’ meeting today (yesterday) in Kwami, Kwami Local Government Area where we deliberated extensively on a wide range of issues around governance, security and progress of our dear state as well as the success, unity and progress of our great party.

“We strongly appreciate the giant and unprecedented developmental strides being witnessed in Gombe State under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in all facets of human endeavour in these challenging times and also commend his commitment to the sustenance of the prevailing peace and security in our dear state,” they stated in the communique.

The stakeholders led by Ambassador Yerima Abdulahi said all members of the party are proud to be associated with the successes of the APC-led administration under Governor Yahaya, especially in addressing the long-standing infrastructural deficits throughout the state.

He said the Governor has succeeded in entrenching inclusive growth and development and pursuing all-encompassing reforms in the public sector for improved service delivery.

“We particularly note with great pride how he successfully put Gombe State on the global map by making our dear state the number one state in ease of doing business among the 36 states and the FCT.”
