Governor Nasir El-Rufai who has repeatedly kicked against negotiating with Bandits has declared that even if his son was kidnapped, he would only pray he makes heaven than to negotiate or pay a ransom.

Speaking on Friday 9 during a radio interview, when asked about paying ransom to release the abducted students from Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Kaduna.

“I mean it and I will say it again here. Even if my son is kidnapped, I will rather pray for him to make heaven instead because I won’t pay any ransom”
