Johnvents Purchases The Oldest Cocoa Plant In Nigeria.

In an attempt to guarantee that its quality meets international standards, the multinational agribusiness and manufacturing group Johnvents Group announced that it has purchased Premium Cocoa Products, Ile-Oluji, Nigeria’s oldest cocoa processing facility with a 30,000 metric tons (Mt) capacity.

It stated that in order for Nigerian cocoa and other produce to be accepted on the international market, it has been trying to improve their quality. According to a statement from John Alamu, Group Managing Director of Johnvents Group, the company has developed into a global manufacturing and agribusiness powerhouse with the goal of promoting sustainable development along the agricultural value chain in Africa and beyond.

Alamu clarified that the purchase and rejuvenation of Premium Cocoa Products (Ile-Oluji) was done to demonstrate the company’s dedication to maintaining tradition while producing goods that satisfy global standards.

According to him, the company also purchased Noble-Eagle Industries Limited in 2023 in order to produce seasoning cubes, cereals, animal feed, edible oils, and bottle water.

Alamu further revealed that the Group’s worldwide commercial hub, Johnvents Industries DMCC (JID), was established in Dubai.

In his opinion, Johnvents Group is not only adding value from farm to table, but it is also writing a new chapter in African business history that is characterized by impact, scale, and innovation.
“With every investment, the Group is strengthening its ties throughout the continent and broadening its influence worldwide,” he stated.

It becomes evident that transformation, traceability, and long-term value generation are more important to Africa’s agribusiness future than raw exports alone.

“By using inclusive growth, sustainable practices, and a fully integrated approach that leaves no part of the value chain behind, Johnvents is advancing its mission of nourishing Africa and the world.”
