Lagos State Govt Set To Inaugurate Housing Scheme In Sangotedo

The new scheme has 248 one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments

Lagos State Government is set to inaugurate a housing scheme at Sangotedo in Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area which comprises 744 homes.

Commissioner for Housing Moruf Akinderu-Fatai said the new scheme which has 248 one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments is significant because it is the largest housing scheme to be completed so far by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Permanent Secretary Wasiu Akewusola advised home seekers to always contact the state’s Ministry of Housing or Mortgage Board directly as the state has not appointed any property agent to deal with the public on its behalf.

He urged them not to fall prey to dubious people parading as representatives of the ministry. Infrastructure in the estate, he said, includes a network of roads, drainage systems, electricity,  water, and sewage reticulation system.
