After Elon Musk, a US billionaire who was born in South Africa, demanded that he be labeled an international criminal, Julius Malema, the head of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), responded by telling Musk that he doesn’t care about sanctions.
Musk’s comments followed his tweeting of old video showing Malema making divisive remarks about “cutting the throat of whiteness.”
The software tycoon responded by calling for Malema to be labeled an international criminal and demanding urgent punishment on the former leader of the ANC Youth League.
“I truly believe you have completely lost your left brain: a typical spoiled brat and direct beneficiary of Apartheid whiteness,” Malema tweeted in response to Musk’s comments.
“I am aware that you, the average bigot, think all black people are the same. Upon closer inspection, you will see that the two individuals are not the same. America is showing us how foolish it is. I am glad to be an international criminal, and I don’t care about your penalties because I will always fight for black equality with white equality.
The conversation has spurred further discussion about Musk’s meddling in South African politics and Malema’s statements.
