A Nigerian man identify as Onyedika Chibuike, has been arrested for reportedly assaulting his wife over food.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at their residence in Ajileye Street, Bariga, Lagos, according to a source. “There was nothing for the family to eat in the house except Garri, which she fed her children. The husband, on the other hand, took offense and questioned her for feeding the children Garri. He then proceeded to beat her severely, resulting in the horrific injuries seen in the video.
This is not the first time the husband has vented such hideous anger on her. In a previous incident, he almost set the lady ablaze by pouring fuel on her body ,she narrowly escaped before he went to bring lighter.
