Monarch Who Provides Free Education And Teaches In School

If education is expensive, try ignorance goes a saying. It is not debatable that the political and socio economic advancement of a nation can not be achieved without proper step by step procedure of individual  sensitization and enlightment which only education brings.

Therefore, the importance of education on the total wellbeing of a nation is non negotiable. In this vein, it is no mistakes that past administration in Nigeria in the first and second republic provided free education to Nigerian citizens. It is not an argument that the beneficiaries of this free education are now literati and technocrats in Nigeria and spreading in the diaspora.

The question now arises what is the fate of the Nigeria masses, the downtrodden, the less priviledged who cannot afford the cost of educating their children? What will be the fate of these uneducated children?.

The above mind bugling questions are what attracted us at Adahzionblog to a Nigerian mornach who champions the course of free education in Osun State. This royal king rule over Oke –Ila, a town situated in the heart of Osun State. What humility can be more than a king building schools with no schools fees graced with free hostel facilities,  free food and most importantly teaches in the school.

A king that teaches in a school not minding the pride of royalty should be well commended.

Students in this school also enjoys the benevolence of this humble king through the provision of free internet, free uniform, free laptop for every child and 24 hours power supply. Abolarin college was established by Orangun Abolarin Aroyinkeye Foundation (OAAF), a foundatinestablished by King Abolarin to give back to the society. The school was set up to fight poverty through education and strictly for indigent students of Nigeria

The unique selling point of Abolarin College  and the criteria of admitting prospective students to the school is solely centered around the underpriviledged people. In other world being poor is the gate to the school. The school is not for the financially strong people of our society.

The monarch  believe in equal opportunity between the rich and the downtrodden. Brilliant children with no financial muscle are the only people preference are given to be admitted into the school. The future belongs to everyone and not only for the nobles who eats and dines in gold.

The king also prides in monogamy, he has only a queen to himself, an act is is rarely seen among kings. This is a wake up call on African kings not only to take but to give generously into the course of educating every child. A king is called to serve in humility and accountability.

African monarchs and emperors who are seen to be mentors by many should make conscious effort  in safe guarding the future of our dear country Nigeria.
