Paul Okoye Is Happy That Jude Was Released From Custody.

Jude Okoye has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s detention. Jude is the older brother and former manager of Paul and Peter Okoye of the now-defunct band P-Square.

The EFCC charged Jude and his business, Northside Music Limited, with laundering ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59, according to Newsline.

On Wednesday, Paul, also known as RudeBoy of Psquare, posted a number of videos on his Instagram story to mark his release.

All of their attempts to thwart Jude’s bail have finally failed, he wrote. Jude is now free after more than two months. Greetings from #judeengees, brother. Additionally, happy birthday. Welcome home, blood.

Additionally, he revealed that a celebration for Jude’s release is being planned.

Remember that Paul blamed his twin, Peter, for Jude’s legal issues and imprisonment following Jude’s arraignment in February, saying he would not desert his older brother.

Peter told the Lagos Federal High Court last week how Jude had discreetly set up a new business in his wife’s name and used it to siphon off P-Square royalties.

The case was postponed until June 4th by the court to allow for cross-examination.
Peter talked candidly about having to endure more than 20 years of deception and betrayal after testifying in the lawsuit.

“Avoid letting “family” be the cause of your silence. I did, and it nearly cost me everything for more than 20 years. However, I’ve learned that love doesn’t control, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t embezzle.

“A family that betrays and destroys you isn’t really family.” He added, “A true family doesn’t take advantage of you, embarrass you, treat you unfairly, or disregard your suffering.”
