On Wednesday, in Jebba, Moro local government area of Kwara state, a truck laden with premium motor spirit (PMS) allegedly exploded and killed no fewer than six persons in the early hours of the day.
According to reports, the tanker was said to be travelling when it lost control and spilled its contents as it rammed into residential buildings.
The incident resulted in huge explosions that also burnt down over 30 houses and shops.
Hassan Adekunle, Spokesperson of the state Fire Service confirmed the incident promising to update our correspondent in the next one hour.
