Ronaldo had set the standard during Real Madrid’s winning season in 2013–14, scoring 17 goals and dishing out four assists. The Portuguese legend’s game-winning penalty kick in the final versus Atletico Madrid brought Real Madrid’s coveted “La Decima” to a 4-1 victory in extra time, capping off that campaign. Now, more than ten years later, Raphinha has equaled that legendary player with an impressive combination of goals and assists that have propelled Barcelona’s European run this year. However, Inter won 4-3 thanks to a goal from Davide Frattesi in extra time, and his late effort was unable to push Barcelona over the finish line.
