Yung6ix, a Nigerian rapper, has made a public plea for help quitting marijuana.
The musician clarified that after 21 years of smoking, his body was unable to handle it any more.
He disclosed that he now spends $600 a month on marijuana and needs assistance quitting entirely.
He posted, “Coming out today to tell everyone I need help,” under his X handle. After 21 years of smoking, my body is begging me to quit. I’ve cut my monthly cannabis purchases to $600, but it’s not easy. I need assistance getting that down to zero. Can you help?
In response to his tweet, his coworker Phenom disclosed that he stopped smoking ten years ago with the assistance of his physician and volunteered to provide Yung6ix with his physician’s contact information.
It’s been ten years since I stopped smoking,” he wrote. [I] can put you in touch with the physician who assisted me.
“Wow no way bro, so you don’t now know kana all this time when we dey yarn?” was Yung6ix’s response.
