Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore was reportedly arrested in Abuja.
According to reports, Sowore and other activists were carrying out a peaceful procession to mark the New Year when they were accosted and arrested by Nigerian security forces in Abuja.
Eyewitnesses say that Sowore was injured before been carted away with the other activists by men who are suspected to be from the Rapid Response Squad
