Sowore Invites Burna Boy To Join The October 1st Protest

Omoyele “Yele” Sowore is a Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of an online news agency Sahara Reporters.

In a tweet, Sowore invites Burna Boy, legendary afro-beat musician, to join in the October 1st protest being that he is often described as a revolutionary musician.

He also wondered why Burna boy who is also often compared to the late legendary afro-beat musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has not led any revolutionary act like Fela.

He tweeted:

“Hello @burnaboy, everywhere I turn people describe you as a revolutionary musician, the foreign media even celebrate you, compare you to Fela Kuti, but I am yet to see you lead anyone to a police station carrying a coffin for head of state!
