The singer added that the conflict between him and his wife, Annie, is not the result of his new love.
Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as Tuface or 2baba, has acknowledged his connection with Natasha Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, amid reports that he and his wife, Annie Macualay, had broken up.
Tuface created a stir on Monday when he attended plenary at the Edo State House of Assembly amid circulating rumors of their romance.
Some on social media saw his visit to the House as a confirmation of the rumored romance with the Edo State legislator, while others questioned why he was there.
But early on Wednesday morning, the renowned musician responded to the rumors with a video message on his Instagram account.
Saying, “Yes, I love her,” Tuface affirmed his feelings for the politician. I’d like to wed her.
“I said what I said,” he continued. Everybody will be okay. Honorable Natasha, it appears that she has been dragged and has been referred to by a variety of derogatory names. People have called her a house breaker. She is a youthful, intelligent, and remarkable woman.
The singer added that the conflict between him and his wife, Annie, is not the result of his new love.
“What is going on between Annie and myself is unrelated to her. However, it appears that everyone is attempting to purportedly involve her in everything. I do love her. Tuface declared, “I want to marry her because she is cool and amazing.”
Tuface surprised the social media community in January when he revealed that he and his wife, Annie, had filed for divorce after a period of separation.
“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations,” he had stated. Well, what I have to say is both brief and lengthy. I’ve been separated from Annie Macaulay for some time, and we’ve filed for divorce.
I would soon give a press release to tell my tale because I love my people and I want them to know if I am innocent or guilty, not because anyone has a right to know about my private life. My folks, may you remain blessed. I cherish each and every one of you.
