UPDATE: President Buhari Speaks On The Helicopter Crash In Lagos

President Buhari has spoken on the Bell 206 helicopter belonging to Quorum Aviation crashed at 16A Salvation Opebi road in Lagos state, killion two and leaving one injured.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, he said :

“While the nation awaits report of investigation into the accident by aviation regulatory agencies, the President prays that God will console the bereaved families, grant peace to the souls of the dead and speedy recovery for the injured.”

“The Accident Investigation Bureau has retrieved the black box and transported the wreck of the aircraft to their office for further investigations.

‘’The affected buildings will be subjected to integrity testing while the entire area will be fumigated.

“Members of the public are advised to remain calm and be assured of Mr Governor’s commitment to the safety of life and property within Lagos State. Updates will follow on from the result of the investigation.”
