Watch Nancy Pelosi Rip Up Copy Of President Donald Trump’s State Of The Union Speech

Pelosi on it again.Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday ripped up her copy of President Trump’s prepared remarks at the conclusion of his State of the Union address.

As Trump finished speaking and most lawmakers stood to applaud, Pelosi stood, took the printed copy of Trump’s speech and tore it in half. She placed the shredded copy in a stack on the dais as Trump made his way to greet members of Congress.

Asked afterward why she tore the speech up, Pelosi told reporters it was “the courteous thing to do given the alternative.”

The moment capped a tense address from Trump that started when the president appeared to snub Pelosi’s offer of a handshake.

Pelosi largely seemed to avoid looking at Trump throughout the address, instead reading from his prepared remarks and scanning the room.

She and other Democrats stood and applauded only periodically, even as Republicans regularly gave ovations. Pelosi could be seen subtly shaking her head “no” when Trump pledged to protect Medicare and Social Security as well as rejecting his claim that Democrats want to provide “unlimited health care” for undocumented immigrants.

The speech came weeks after the House impeached Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress and one day before the GOP-controlled Senate is likely to vote to acquit him.

Pelosi also made waves at Trump’s State of the Union last year, when her pointed applause at Trump calling for an end to “revenge politics” went viral.

Reno Omokri objects to Church of England’s apology for saying sex is only for married heterosexuals

Reno Omokri has objected to Church of England issuing an apology for saying sex is only for married heterosexuals.

Back in January,  a statement issued by the House of Bishops, led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, stated that sex is for straight married couples only, while declaring that Christians in gay or straight civil partnerships should be sexually abstinent.

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York later apologized for the statement and said they acknowledge that the statement “jeopardized trust”.

But Reno felt the Church of England was right in their initial statement and had no reason to apologize.

He wrote: “How can a church apologise for saying sexual intercourse may only occur between heterosexual married couples? What is wrong with that Scripturally sound statement? Should the church conform to the word of men or the word of God?”

Nigerian singer, Terry G whose real name is Gabriel Amanyi, has described himself as the “Jesus” of Nigerian music, saying he set the pace for the present trend in the Nigerian music industry.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, the “Free Madness” and ”Akpako” crooner said Nigerians have come to embrace his kind of music.

According to Terry G, he is the “Jesus” of the Nigerian music industry who set the pace and sacrificed for his artistic genre.

”I’m the Jesus of Nigerian music, I’m not the Christ. The Christ is the savior, Jesus is a name, and for the fact that Jesus is the most popular name that died for us and sacrificed for us.

It took me a while to take this risk that a lot of persons discriminated against me for and now, they see people smoking, doing stuff and nobody is talking. There must be a pace-setter”.

He added that many Nigerians are hypocritical as they have come to embrace and support most of the things they criticised him for doing as an artiste in the past.

Comparing himself to Naira Marley, Terry G admitted that it was not in his place to decide whether he was more influential than Naira Marley.

Kokun Foundation gifts a new car to Sandra, a female Gokada rider who became a viral sensation after she became jobless due to the recent ban on motorcycles and tricycles In Lagos State.

Following the proscription of motorcycles and tricycles movement in some parts of Lagos on Saturday, February 1, 2020, a video emerged online showing a female motorcycle rider who works with Gokada bitterly appealing to Lagos government to reverse its decision on the ban.

Sandra, a National Diploma graduate of accounting, Yaba College of Technology in Lagos State, who works with Gokada as an IT staff, appealed that the state government should regulate the riders on how they move around with their motorcycles and Tricycle rather than ban them.

Narrating why she decided to work with Gokada as a staff, the female rider disclosed that she searched for jobs but she could not see one, and white collar jobs that are available are not attractive in terms of payment.

Sandra further revealed that some employers pay N20,000 as salary, the same amount she earns per day while working with Gokada as an IT staff.

Sandra revealed that she used Gokada to train herself while in school as an ND student and she has plans to go back for her HND, but if the Government does not reverse its decision, she might not be able to go back. She added:

“My friends are aware that this is what I do. They have been asking me what I will do if the Government takes the job from me but I keep telling them that we will resolve it.

“Please government, resolve it and for the fact that I am a female and I am doing this job. I am not the only female, we have women out there, single mothers who train their children with the job. If you take this job from us, there is nothing we can do again,” Sandra said.

Sandra stressed further that she do not want to sell her body for money or engage in prostitution.

“I know what I face on the road, it is a big risk I am taking. People are happy that we are out there. Many people have been interviewed on this issue and they say that the decision of the government makes no sense.”

While appealing to the Goverment to reverse its decision, the female rider revealed that she uses the funds obtained from Gokada to train herself and many people look up to her.

“Please regulate us. Do not ban us,” Sandra begged passionately.
