Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has picked a Lagos-based pastor, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, as his running mate for the 2023 general election.
This was disclosed via a tweet on the party’s official Twitter handle on Thursday.
The NNPC tweeted, “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State,”
Bishop Idahosa, who hails from Edo State, is the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry, also known as Illumination Assembly. The church has its headquarters at Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos State.
Kwankwaso emerged as the NNPP presidential candidate on June 8, 2022.
The former governor of Kano State, who was the sole presidential aspirant, emerged at the party’s special convention in Abuja.
