Everything started on September 11, 2024, when the food reviewer visited Cubana Chief Priest’s restaurant and, in typical way, tweeted his assessment of the establishment and the food on Instagram. Famakin praised the restaurant’s design and philosophy but pointed out that the pastries shouldn’t have been microwaved because they were premade.
The merchant praised Famakin for visiting his restaurant in the original post’s comment section. He left a message: “Thanks for stopping by, Foodie, stay blessed.”
On September 12, 2024, however, things took a different turn when Famakin posted screenshots of their talks and claimed that Cubana Chiefpriest had threatened him over his evaluation. Chiefpriest informed him in the screenshot that “you reap what you sow in life; karma is real.” I don’t fight the low life; I let karma take care of them. The proprietor of the company you did your evil review for is six years old.”
“I Know A Threat When I See One, I guess Its Time To Leave Imo State ASAP,” captioned a photo of Famakin that expressed his concern for his life and his desire to flee Imo State. You know who to hold in case something were to happen to me while I’m here. I appreciate that he was courteous in the public comment section and had a different tone in my direct messages.”
In an unexpected turn of events, Cubana Chiefpriest attacked Famakin on his Instagram account, saying that it was he who ordered the wait staff to reheat his hamburgers. Then the businessman questioned him about why he didn’t just tell the employees not to.
“You asked them to microwave the burger for you,” wrote Cubana Chiefpriest. You just waited for them to finish, turned around, and started using it for material. If you’re against having your burger microwaved, then why didn’t you tell them to stop? Instead, you just stood there and blew off the remainder of your time as you waited for them to reheat the burger to your specifications.
I thought his review was fair and honest, so I was grateful for it. However, as I went to attack my employees, they informed me that he had instructed them to do so and had provided video evidence.
Famakin clapped back, emphasizing that the claims made by the Chiefpriest were untrue.
