Jegede utilized her Instagram account on Sunday to showcase the transformation, clarifying that the decision was essential to fully embody the character.
Jegede highlighted her unwavering commitment to her craft, expressing her readiness to transcend limits in order to provide outstanding performances.
She stated, “Cutting my hair wasn’t merely a change in appearance; it represented a departure from my comfort zone and an embrace of a new aspect of myself for the narrative.” I have always maintained that as an actor, one must be prepared to challenge limits, and this role is certainly facilitating that for me.
This decision also demonstrates my commitment to my profession. I approach acting with a high level of commitment, fully immersing myself in each role I undertake.
“‘AJA’ is a distinctive project that will push my limits, and I am prepared to dedicate my full effort to it. It is essential to embody the character fully, not merely to present a superficial appearance.
