According to the reports, Jay Pickett, 60 died when he was about to shoot a movie scene.
On Thursday, July 29 he died while on the set of a new film he was working on called “Treasure Valley” in Idaho.
His co-star and co-producer of the film, Jim Heffel, shared the sad news on Facebook.
“Jay died sitting on a horse ready to rope a steer in the movie Treasure Valley in Idaho. The way of a true cowboy.” he wrote:
Travis Mills, another star from a movie took to his own Facebook page to invest and he said it to be a heartbreak of some sort, everyone around him is trying to keep him alive.
Jay was best known for his roles on “General Hospital,” “Days of Our Lives” and “Port Charles”.
He left behind his wife Elena, and his children.
