Anambra Supreme Court Plans Judgment For 12noon In Case Contesting Soludo’s APGA Ticket

The Supreme Court has fixed judgment for 12noon today in an appeal challenging the candidacy of ex-Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Charles Soludo in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State.

A Panel of the apex court, led by Justice Mary Odili, after hearing lawyers to parties in the appeal, rose briefly to return by 12noon for its verdict.

Soludo emerged from a primary conducted by a faction, while a member of the House of Representatives, Chukwuma Umeoji was produced by the second faction.

In an earlier judgment some weeks back, the Court of Appeal, Abuja held in favour of Soludo.
