Now that the 2025 Royal Rumble bouts are over, the Road to WrestleMania 41 has officially begun. The Elimination Chamber fights, which are scheduled for March 1, 2025, at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, will be the next obstacle to overcome.
The only confirmed participant in either of those matches going into tonight’s WWE Raw edition was John Cena, who announced his intention to enter at the Royal Rumble press conference.
However, Seth Rollins, who had filmed a promo before the match, was disappointed when CM Punk defeated Sami Zayn to secure another berth in the men’s match on tonight’s show. Rollins had hoped that Zayn would take away that opportunity from The Second City Savior.
Moreover, Liv Morgan defeated Iyo Sky to secure the top women’s berth. In an attempt to exact revenge on the pair for attacking Ripley and Iyo Sky in a backstage area prior to the start of the match, Rhea Ripley accidentally hit Morgan when she was pursuing Raquel Rodriguez during a disqualification finish. Sky was obviously furious with Ripley for unintentionally denying her the chance, so it would be interesting to see if WWE holds any “last chance” qualifying matches where she can reenter the fray or if she has simply lost her one and only chance.
Two of the three scheduled qualifying matches for next week were confirmed.
Two more spots in the men’s match will be decided between Finn Balor of The Judgment Day vs. Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio vs. Logan Paul, while Bayley will battle the women’s intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria to claim spot #2 in the Women’s Elimination Chamber.
Paul’s interference in Mysterio’s match this week cost him and Dragon Lee a tag match against The New Day, which is noteworthy.
With this, the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view’s current schedule now includes the following two matches:
The first contender’s match in the Men’s Elimination Chamber is John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Finn Balor or Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio or Logan Paul vs. TBA vs. TBA.
First Women’s Elimination Chamber Liv Morgan vs. (Bayley or Lyra Valkyria) vs. TBA vs. TBA vs. TBA in the Contender’s Match.
