Anthony Nwakaeme, 32 Nigerian footballer/ striker’s statue has been erected in Turkey due to his impressive contributions at Super Lig side Trabzonspor.
He joined the Turkish club from Hapoel Be’er Sheva in 2018 and has made over 90 appearances for the club, with over 20 goals to his name.
Nigerian journalist, Oluwashina Okeleji shared the goodness saying that the statue was erected in Trabzon by Adem Birsen.
He said;
” We wanted to make a bust of Nwakaeme, we wanted the very intelligent man to identify with Trabzon. We made it with the cap of our legendary name Ahmet Suat Özyazc?. It was a long construction process in 5-6 months. We had it done with a special sculptor. We love and admire him very much. If Fenerbahçe has Alex, we have Nwakaeme. We love him very much, he should continue to score, he is our everything.”
