At about 5pm on Saturday, unknown gunmen reportedly abducted the Zone ‘C’ chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State, Mallam Aminu Bobi in Mariga local government area.
According to an eyewitness, 18 unknown persons invaded the farm in six motorcycles, shooting sporadically.

They allegedly picked only Mallam Aminu, leaving his workers. As at the time of filing this report, all efforts to reach Niger Police Spokesman DSP Abiodun Wasiu on phone or via text messages proved abortive.
