IGP Adamu, today, has ordered that the rape issue that has been hot on the social media for a time now be looked into.
The rape case was leveled against the popular artist, Oladapo Oyebanjo, D’banj by Miss Seyitan Babatayo who accused the musician of gaining forceful entry into her hotel room where he raped her.
The matter has been growing hot on the internet for days now, with a lot of twitter users accusing the musician of making use of the Nigerian police to harass and silence Miss Seyitan. In reply to the matter, IGP Adamu has released a letter ordering that full investigation be made into the case.
