Ten patients undergoing treatment at the Lagos State isolation centres have recovered and discharged.
Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced this via his Twitter handle on Friday.
He said the discharged patients included three foreigners.
Sanwo-Olu appealed to Lagos residents to abide by the directives aimed at curbing the spread of the COVID-19 in the state.
He said, “We are encouraged by these discharged cases and the support we have received from the citizens of the state in the battle against #COVID-19 but I urge us all not to relent because it is imperative that we win.
“Remember to practice great personal hygiene and join our #MaskUpLagos campaign by using a facemask whenever you are in public.”
