BREAKING: President Buhari Appoints New Acting Inspector General Of Police

On Tuesday, April 6, President Buhari approved the appointment of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba as the new acting Inspector General of Police.

This was disclosed by Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Police Affairs at the State House in Abuja, who said the appointment takes effect immediately.

IGP Mohammed Adamu’s tenure that was extended on the 4th of February for three months expires soon, as he has spent 2 months and three days.
