ECOWAS (Economic Community Of West African States), recently just appointed the Nigerian former President to lead the political reconciliation in Mali where there is a leadership turmoil.
The Jonathan – led committee had recommended the government of national unity in the country but the opposition group had turned down the recommendation.
However, the Former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan arrived at Aso Rock at about 11am and went straight to meet with President Buhari in his office.
Although the purpose of the meeting is not yet made public, information has it that Dr. Jonathan was expected to brief Buhari on the efforts of his committee in the Mali crisis.
