Chief Isaac Jemide, the Oshodi of Warri Kingdom and one of the oldest chiefs of Warri Kingdom is reportedly dead.
According to reports, he died on Sunday, November 12, at about 10am.
The deceased was one of the Itsekiri Leaders of Thought (ILOT), a lawyer and former commissioner representing Delta State on the board of the now-defunct Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission (OMPADEC).
A statement signed by the secretary of the Warri Council of Chiefs, Chief Eugene Ikomi, expressed sadness over his passage.
The statement read:
“It’s another sad day for the Council. We received with deep shock the sudden passing of our amiable Chief Isaac Jemide (Ikeri),”
The statement also condoled with the family of the deceased.
