Aurelio De Laurentiis “ADL” is a prominent Italian film producer through his company, Filmauro the current owner of Italian football club Napoli and Bari.
It was reported on Wednesday that the top official had been diagnosed with COVID-19, after reportedly attending a meeting with 20 representatives from Serie A clubs, forcing all those who attended to get tests and go into self-isolation.
The Club chiefs were meeting in person for the first time in months to discuss preparations for the 2020-21 campaign.
On Thursday morning September 10, Napoli released a statement which read: ‘SSC Napoli announces that President Aurelio De Laurentiis tested positive for Covid-19 following the swab carried out yesterday.’
