COVID-19: Three Reprimanded For Multimillion Naira Fraud.

Three men have been reprimanded in connection to cybercrime involving fraudulent online procurement and supply of Covid 19 protective masks through the INTERPOL NCB Wiesbaden , Germany.

Police said they have defrauded their innocent victims of hundreds of millions of Naira. The suspects, Samson Inegbenesun, 30 , Blessed Junior, 32, and Muhammed Zakari, 36, are in the police custody.

MBA, Police spokesperson said Juniot only returned from Italy in February but was still in close connection with his associates there.

However, the Police has recovered a house worth N20m , a Toyota RAV4 2015 model which costs about N6.5m and a Toyota Matrix 2002 model which costs about N2m.

According to MBA,

“Investigations revealed that he has made over  N120m from internet fraud and other cybercrime dealings. He also received the sum of €52,000 recently from his criminal associates in Italy as commission for his active involvement in an international cybercrime deal. He owns a filling station established with the proceeds of the crime,”.
