Popular Nigerian singer Davido and his brother, Adewale have both dragged South African DJ, DJ Maphorisa over a comment he made about Amapiano’s success in Africa.
A Twitter user had credited Davido for being the first to start Amapiano in Africa before Wizkid and Burna Boy jumped on it.
Following his comment, Davido and his bother teamed up to silence him, both affirming Maphorisa’s phony.
According to Davido, the south African DJ has never been fond of him, hence the energy towards his career and hard work.
“You’ve never liked me y? I’ve always been good to you …. Anyways! AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY NOW!!!!!! Chu chu chu chu chu,” he wrote.
Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke also reacted to Maphorisa’s post stating that his younger brother gets disrespected by music creatives even after helping them.
My brother put on a countless number of artists & producers only for “some” of them to disrespect him! There’s a reason why he’s still here and y’all fell off”, he wrote.
