After a porn star died after plunging to her death from a balcony while recording a threesome, Brazilian authorities are still investigating whether the killing was intentional.
In a courtyard at an aparthotel in Nova Iguacu, about 25 miles northwest of Rio de Janeiro, Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, also known online as Anna Polly, was discovered dead last week.
It is thought that the 28-year-old adult video maker fell while recording X-rated sequences with two unidentified guys for her OnlyFans.
As part of their inquiry, police are examining hotel CCTV footage, although they are still unsure if the fall was an accident or a crime.
According to Brazilian publication Metropoles, Alves’s family and friends have claimed that some of her admirers and subscribers have been pressuring and harassing her online.
Police have seized Alves’ phone as proof that they are aware of this.
Though no charges have been made, news source Globo reports that the guys who were with the adult content creator when she fell offered investigators contradictory accounts of what happened before the incident. They were questioned for the second time on Thursday.
It is still unclear whether drugs were present in Alves’ system or whether there is any evidence that she was the victim of sexual assault. The post-mortem results have not been made public.
“We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened,” a spokesman for the probe’s main agency, the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit, told local media.
“We don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime, because it’s a complex case.”
Pedro Henrique, her lover, told the Brazilian magazine Quem: “The police already have all the information about the case and they are looking into it.”
“Whoever is at fault will pay, and the offender will be apprehended.” In the fall, she passed away. She couldn’t be saved in time.
According to local accounts, Alves is thought to have passed away in Nova Iguacu’s four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel.
Online users have seen graphic video of a police officer standing over a body, thought to be Alves’, in a sheet covered in blood.
Alves’ boyfriend said on Instagram that she was buried on January 25.
‘It’s extremely difficult without you,’ he wrote in a social media tribute while announcing the specifics of her funeral.
“It’s beginning to sink in, and the hole in my heart keeps growing as the hours go by.”
“She had a lot of plans, she wanted to increase her social media presence, and she always spoke enthusiastically about her future projects,” Alves’ friend said of the influencer.
“Everyone is in shock over this news.”
