Some cells alleged to belong to the forbidden indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB in the State of Edo have been discovered by the Nigerian police force.
DIG Moses Jitoboh, Deputy Police Inspector General responsible for the Restore Peace Operational South Zone, announced the situation at Thursday’s stakeholder session in Benin City.
According to Vanguard, he listed the affected areas as Ologbo, Okhuae, Igbanke, Iguolaba, Abudu, in Edo South and in Edo Central Senate District.
“There is no way police can be effective without the support of the people, especially the traditional rulers.
