Former Mongolian Prime Minister Jargaltulga Erdenebat was on Monday sentenced to Six years by a criminal court in the Sukhbaatar district of Mongolia’s capital Ulan Bator.
The 45-year-old Politician, a member of the ruling Mongolian People’s Party served as prime minister of the resource-rich country from 2016 to 2017.
He was found guilty of unofficially owning protected areas with special licenses and giving privileges to a mining company by abusing power in his capacity as prime minister.
