Federal Government Shifts Date For Resumption Of International Flights To Sept 5

Recall that Haidi Sirika, Minister of Aviation announced the date for resumption of international flights as August 29 due to the pressure from the public.

However, on thursday the Federal Government shifted the resumption of international flights to September 5,2020 from August 29,2020.

Stating this at a briefing by the presidential task force on COVID-19, Musa Nuhu, the Director-General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority said that there were still some issues to be sorted out.

He said:

“Regret to announce that the international flight resumption earlier scheduled to resume on 29th August has been shifted to 5th September 2020.”
