Well-known Nollywood actress Halima has called for help, exposing her financial hardships.
Abubakar, who has been living in her village for more than a year, described her hardships in an impassioned plea during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday.
The actress was upset about her health and made it clear that she wasn’t feeling well. She released her account data in an appeal for help, asking Nigerians to help her.
“Good morning,” she added, “they are not sure what is happening. This is me, however I apply a filter on my photos every day to avoid posting my appearance for fear that some of you may accuse me of lying. Why would I be lying about being ill? I visited Nigeria’s largest hospital.
“It’s fine if you fired me from Nollywood, but why are you betraying me so much?
They said that I never got sick. I was lying; I spent over a year in the village. I’m around here and I’m done because I relocated here recently because of the hospital where I get checked up. Medically, I’m in perfect health. According to my best friend, I’m acting ill and lying. You are a cruel individual. How can someone who is ill lie? How many individuals have I been pleading with, do you know? I’ve been pleading with everyone to take medicine, but it hasn’t worked.
My best buddy didn’t even come to see how I was doing, so she said I was lying. Do you wish for my death? Would you like me to end my own life? Since that proves she was never my best friend, I won’t even bring her up.
“Everyone in Nollywood doesn’t communicate with me; I DM each person in an attempt to find someone who can assist me. I was wealthy and did nothing but sell my three automobiles.
Social media has been buzzing with responses to her disclosure, with many people worried about her well-being.
