Nigerian footballer Sadiq Umar responds to fans who heavily criticized him via DMs, despite his lack of involvement in the AFCON finals.
He started playing at the beginning of the AFCON tournament but had to be benched owing to a meniscus injury sustained during a friendly match with Guinea.
This led to him leaving the AFCON and returning to his home club, where another diagnosis revealed it was just a minor swell.
However, after Nigeria’s loss to Ivory Coast in the finals, many fans have taken to calling out the majority of the players, with Iwobi taking the major hit.
It seems they also sent Sadiq Umar some provocative messages, to which he responded via his Instagram story.
